4 Days Tour from Marrakech to Fes via Desert

The first day of our 4-day trip from Marrakech to Fes will begin with a pick-up from your accommodation en route to the Dades Gorges. First, we will cross the High Atlas mountains and we will stop at Tizi Ntichka pass 2260 m. Also, we will pass on the argan oil that works with Teleouet. The next stop is the UNESCO World Heritage Site In Morocco, the fortified town of Ait Benhaddou. After lunch, we continue our journey to Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Morocco. We'll stop by Atlas Studios and check them out. Finally, we will go to our last destination, Dades Gorges, where we will spend the night.

Today after breakfast in the Dedes Gorges , we will leave to discover the desert. First, we will explore the Toudgha River. We will stop here to allow you to cross the Toudgha River which is about 300m high. After that, we go to the Berber village. You will see a change in perspective as we approach the desert. However, on the way, we will pass through Tinghir and Tinjedad. Finally, the last place today is the Erg Chebbi desert. When we arrive, we will drive the camels through the desert to the desert camp. On the way, you will have the opportunity to watch the sunset. We will start our unforgettable evening by eating traditional food. Our third day of a 4-day trip from Marrakech to Fes was about desert exploring. First, we will start the desert journey by visiting the National Auto Museum, where you can see different old 4×4 vehicles. We will drive to Khamlia, a village inhabited by the Gnawa Berbers. Here, we will spend about half an hour discovering the Gnawa people and listening to their music. After that, we will discover another way of life, the Berber nomads. We will stay with them in their tents and learn more about their lives. Some families have two couples, while others have more than seven people. After that, we will go to Mifiss to discover its kohl mine which produced one million kilograms of minerals. The desert journey continues, we will visit many beautiful places that will allow you to see different views of the Sahara desert. However, our journey ended with the discovery of the Oasis of Hassi Labied.

On the last day of your three-day trip between Marrakech and the desert of Fez. You wake up early to contemplate the beautiful sunrise in the middle of the desert. Free time for breakfast, then return by camel to Merzouga where the driver awaits you. Then we leave the desert to visit the town of Rissani, the former capital of Tafilalet. Rissani is still an important commercial center in the region, with a bustling souk on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. After visiting the souk of Rissani, we continue to Erfoud where we visit one of the marble workshops. After that, we drive along the Ziz River and stop for a view of the Ziz Valley. Free time for lunch at Midelt. Then we continue to the cedar forest, where the Barbary macaques live. Don't hesitate to feed them while you are walking in the forest. After that, we go to Ifrane, famous for its low temperature, snow, and alpine-like houses. No wonder it is called Switzerland (Ifrane) of Morocco.
