After breakfast, we will drive to Essaouira from Agadir through Taghazout. During our stay in Essaouira, we will explore the city and visit the following attractions:
- Visit the Medina: The Medina of Essaouira offers a colorful atmosphere among the small shopping streets. Moroccan-Portuguese style, grand mosques, patios, cafes, and souks will be there for your viewing pleasure.
- Visit the Souk in the Medina: In the middle of the narrow streets is the Souk Jdid (new market), divided into four large markets crossing two streets. Galerie Promenade: Essaouira is a city of artists and there are many artists.
- Visit the walls of La Scala and the Kasbah: Essaouira was built on its walls which served as a defense against enemies. Visit from the port of Essaouira: The port of Essaouira is at the foot of the ramparts. The show is always on, and you will see sailors unloading their fish from the docks. You will have lunch back at the port or at a local restaurant. After lunch, you can have a drink on the terrace or enjoy a walk on the beach of Essaouira. Or you can ride a camel or enjoy a bike ride.
