Enjoy the beauty and fresh air of the Middle Atlas region on this complete tour from Fez, located at an altitude of 1350m in the Atlas Mountains. During this day trip, you will also discover Azrou, a Berber town built at an altitude of 1250m and home to the Berber tribe, the first inhabitants of Morocco. Watch the Berber men with their herds of cattle, grinding grain, and doing their trade including pottery and carpentry. If you are interested, we will visit a cooperative group of women who weave Berber carpets to discover the secrets of these beautiful Atlas carpets. A little further on is the cedar forest of Morocco, where the Barbary monkey is seen leaping; you can give them peanuts and take pictures. Along the road of the cedar forest, you can see the gray tones of the Atlas or wild animals. We will for a lunch stop at a local restaurant where you will taste traditional Moroccan dishes, then we will continue on our way exploring Ifran or "Little Switzerland", pass the flowery path, and admire the French houses of this charming little town.
